About the howarth family
Please sign in to see more. Welcome to my family.
After watching Who Do You Think You Are on TV and watching them look in to their family history I thought it time I looked in to mine,
to learn where I came from and to see who are my ancestors.
We should look in to our family history before its too late, as once our relatives die all the detail has been lost.
The Howarth side has been easy thanks to my cousin Margaret who I lost touch with some 50 years ago.
Then in March of 2006 I sent a letter to my dad's sister who was the last of his family asking her for details.
She couldnt help but gave me Margaret's address, so I sent her a letter in the hope she could help.
Then out of the blue on a Saturday afternoon March 2006 came a phone call and it was Margaret and we've been in touch ever since.
She has let me share her details for the Howarth family which she has been doing for 30 years..
I'm eternally grateful for all the help Margaret has given me, I wouldnt have got as far as I have without her.
also my new friend Ann who has helped by finding relatives after i put a question on the Britsh Genealogy forum many thanks
We start off with one name but then it branches out just like a tree, so interesting to watch the tree grow.
Could you ask for a better legacy to leave behind for my children and grandchildren to read
when i've gone.
